Vehicle registration stolen from inside car

:

While away on business on Sunday, March 9, a Birmingham resident mistakenly left his car unlocked, only to come home and find that his car had been searched through and his vehicle registration was missing.

According to Birmingham police, the victim had left his car parked in his driveway near the 300 block of Coolidge Highway while he was away and when he came back his car was unlocked and looked like it had been searched through. He told officers that he may have left the car unlocked accidentally and his 2025 Michigan vehicle registration was now missing.

Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing.
