Vacant garage burglarized in Birmingham

Birmingham police are investigating a break-in on Saturday, October 30, at an unoccupied home in the 2000 block of Yorkshire.

Officers responded about 10:16 a.m. to the area where the victim, a 78-year-old woman, said the garage door of the home was open and a garage window was broken at the unoccupied residence. The officer investigated the area and found no results. No property was stolen or missing.

Birmingham police are investigating.
