Several checks removed from resident's mailbox

A Bloomfield Township resident’s mail – which contained multiple checks – was taken directly out of their mailbox on the 4000 block of Orchard Hill on the morning of Friday, May 24.


According to sources, the mail was placed in the mailbox at 8:15 a.m. and was discovered missing at 9:30 a.m.


Police are encouraging anyone with information to call 248.433.7755.


This case has been turned over to the Bloomfield Township Police Investigation Division.
