Rochester woman assaulted in Birmingham

While picking up her son’s belongings from the 1000 block of Shipman Boulevard in Birmingham, a 75-year-old Rochester woman was assaulted by the Birmingham resident and owner of the house.

The victim told Birmingham police officers that she went to the home around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, and when she arrived, the suspect was talking aggressively. It escalated to physical assault when the suspect allegedly pulled the victim out of her car and started assaulting her.

Birmingham police report the investigation is ongoing.
