Restaurant employee alleges assault by manager

After a shift at a Birmingham restaurant in the 500 block of South Old Woodward on the night of Saturday, November 23, an employee told Birmingham police that her manager at the restaurant slapped her face during her shift.

The employee reported the incident to the police the next afternoon. Birmingham police say an investigation is ongoing.
