Pair arrested in Birmingham for theft, warrants

In the early afternoon of Tuesday, December 24, two individuals from Flint were arrested on the 600 block of East Maple in Birmingham after they were caught with alcohol stolen from a nearby store.

According to the police report, Birmingham officers approached the couple, one woman and one man, while they were fleeing from a store where they had allegedly stolen $94 worth of alcohol. Police found drugs on both individuals during the arrest, and also discovered each of them had warrants from other cities for similar offenses

The woman was later turned over to the Clawson Police Department for a warrant, Birmingham police reported, while the man was arrested and processed by the Birmingham Police Department.
