Money stolen from inside unlocked car

A Birmingham resident living on the 1500 block of Buckingham Road reported that an unidentified suspect stole money from inside his car on Wednesday, February 28, around 1 p.m.

According to the police report, witnesses told Birmingham officers that they saw an unknown person trying to open car doors around the area. Unfortunately for the victim, his car was left unlocked at the time. The amount of money taken was not disclosed.

Birmingham police said they are investigating the incident.
