Golf clubs among items stolen from unlocked car

Several items, including a set of golf clubs, were stolen from the driver’s side of a car parked on the 800 block of Adams in Birmingham during the overnight hours on Friday, August 18.

The victim told Birmingham police that she parked her car in her assigned parking space the night before and found it with the driver’s side door slightly open the next morning.

Police reported there was no damage to the car, meaning the door was likely left unlocked.

Birmingham police said an investigation is ongoing.
