Expensive hair dryer taken from beauty store

A Dyson Airwrap hair styler system valued at $600 was stolen from the Bloomfield Township Ulta store by a woman who walked in, removed the security tag and took it out of the store on Friday, November 10.


Employees at Ulta Beauty, 2161 Telegraph Road, contacted Bloomfield Township police to report that around 4:30 p.m., an unknown white female who was between the ages of 18 and 26 years of age, about five-feet, six-inches tall, with brown hair, had selected a Dyson Airwrap from a shelf. The hair styling system retails at the store for $599.99. They saw her remove the security tag from the Dyson and then walk out of the store with it.


Bloomfield Township police reported the case is currently under investigation by the Bloomfield Township Investigations Unit, and they are asking anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
