Results from the November general election

Here are the projected winners of the November 5, 2024 general election for congressional, state and local offices serving the communities of Birmingham, Bloomfield Township and Bloomfield Hills as of 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, November 6.

Bloomfield Township Supervisor Dani Walsh has lost her battle for re-election to Republican challenger Mike McCready, a former state representative for the Birmingham/Bloomfield area. Most state legislators were sailing to re-election, including in the hard-fought state 54th District rematch between Democrat Shadia Martini and Republican Donni Steele, where over $3 million in outside money – $2 million for Martini and $1 million for Steele – was poured into this contest.
