Durango, firearm, stolen from city residence

A Birmingham resident had his car and a firearm inside the vehicle stolen during the night on Saturday, June 17, at the 400 block of S. Old Woodward Avenue.


The victim reported that his Dodge Durango, which had a registered firearm along with other items in the vehicle, was stolen overnight. According to police reports, the man stated he had both sets of keys on him, and the car was locked.


Birmingham police say an investigation is currently underway.
