Diners fight over table at Townsend
Combatants who fought over a table on Saturday, October 30, at a Birmingham hotel ended the night with minor injuries, police said.
Birmingham police responded about 10:06 p.m. to the Townsend Hotel, 100 Townsend, for a report of a fight in progress. Witnesses told police two groups were fighting over a table they both believed to be theirs. The altercation escalated and involved several people from both groups resulting in minor injuries.
Birmingham police reported that no arrests were made.
