Business scammed with counterfeit bill

A Birmingham gas station on the 100 block of East Maple Road was scammed with a counterfeit bill on Wednesday, October 30, not noticing the fake bill until the following day.


Birmingham police report that officers and experts were able to confirm the $100 bill given to the business was definitely counterfeit. They said an investigation is ongoing.
