Arrest made in township case of stolen jewelry
An arrest was made on Thursday, February 6, regarding a larceny case that happened last December in Bloomfield Township.
Back in December, 52-year-old Glenn Alan Richards had fixed the bathroom floor in a local home. Once he had completed the work, the victim noticed that her father’s 14k gold chain – that she had kept on a statue inside the bathroom – had been taken.
Richards sold the chain to a pawn shop for $200 on December 21.Â
On February 5 the Oakland County Prosecutors Office issued a one-count felony warrant against Richards for larceny in a building.
Richards was arrested and arraigned at the 48th District Court. He was given a $25,000 personal bond and released from custody.
