Another credit card stolen off city porch

:

A Birmingham woman living on the 1200 block of Birmingham Blvd. is one of the city’s latest residents to experience identity theft after a credit card she didn’t order herself was stolen from her front porch on Friday, March 14, before she could get to it.

The woman told Birmingham police officers that she had been getting notifications about a duplicate credit card being issued and sent to her home. She said she didn’t request the credit card and after it was delivered an unknown man stole it from her porch.

She was able to cancel the credit card and learned that someone had ordered the card online. Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing.
