Man caught on Ring going through SUV

A Bloomfield Township resident contacted police on Tuesday, October 6, after viewing her Ring doorbell system and seeing a man going through her vehicle. Bloomfield Township officers responded to the home in the 3000 block of Roland Drive, where the resident reported that sometime between 1 and 3 a.m., an unknown man was caught on her Ring doorbell system entering her unlocked GMC Yukon and rummaging through the vehicle. The suspect was then seen attempting to open the door of another vehicle at the home, but the door was locked. The homeowner reported nothing was stolen from the Yukon. Bloomfield Township police report the case is under investigation, and strongly encourage the public to not leave valuable items in their vehicles and to always lock their car doors.
