Thieves flee Target store, injure teenager

Bloomfield Township police are looking for two men who injured a teenage boy on Friday, November 15, while fleeing a township department store in the 2400 block of Telegraph Road, where they allegedly stole several items. Officers responded about noon to the complaint of a theft at Target, 2400 Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Township, where two men had just fled the store in an unknown direction. Police said loss prevention officers at the store told officers two males, who appeared to be in their 20s, entered the store and asked to see an Apple iPad and Apple watch. Moments later, one of the males grabbed the items and they both ran toward the exit. While fleeing, one of the male leapt over a railing and landed on a 16-year-old boy who was entering the store. The teen received minor injuries. A photo of the males and their vehicle was provided to police. The case is under investigation. Police anyone with information about the incident or able to help identify the males to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
