Forgotten Harvest’s Women’s Harvest Lunch

Forgotten Harvest’s Women’s Harvest Lunch brought together nearly 300 women committed to alleviating hunger and reducing food waste in metro Detroit. The event included networking opportunities and a coursed luncheon prepared by chefs MyThy Huynh, Meiko Krishok and Phoebe Zimmerman. Each course highlighted a different produce item grown on Forgotten Harvest Farms. The luncheon generated more than $80,000 for Forgotten Harvest Farms, which will help produce an estimated 250,000 pounds of fresh food to nourish families throughout metro Detroit.
