Lincoln Hills Golf Course has opened for season

Spring is officially here, and while some days are warmer than others, golfers are swinging into action, with Birmingham's Lincoln Hills Golf Course officially open for the season and its Springdale Golf Course scheduled to open Saturday, April 6, and both are offering discounted spring rates.

Through April, Birmingham's golfers are open to everyone without a membership pass.

Lincoln Hills Golf Course is located at 2666 W. 14 Mile Road at Cranbrook; Springdale is located at 316 Strathmore, south of Big Beaver Road.

Until Friday, April 12, discounted spring rates are available to purchase or renew a 2019 membership for both residents and non-residents.

Resident membership for first-time membership is $15 per resident, and $10 per resident to renew annually.

For non-residents, an individual pass is $150; a non-resident dual pass is $200; and a non-resident family pass is $250.

Business memberships are available for only $100 for those who work in Birmingham. There are also other pass packages.

“We’re excited to have another great season of golf underway in Birmingham,” said Lauren Wood, director of public services. “Again this year we have many special events at the courses, including a Cinco de Mayo Tournament on May 5, Nite Golf on May 10, a Mother’s Day Closest to the Pin Contest on May 12, and a Nine, Dine and Laugh event on May 17.”

Reservations may be made online or by calling Lincoln Hills at (248) 530-1670 or Springdale at (248) 530-1660. Reserve your tee time and review upcoming special events at GolfBirmingham.org.
